Google today announced, that WMT links section will show more detailed back link data in webmaster tools, a much needed feature for those webmasters who were looking for solution to view broader and diversified linking profile to determine who is linking them, specifically after penguin updates to clean bad link profile.
Before this, Google was displaying links data in alphabetically or “lexicographical order”. While limit of total number is same as before upto 100,000 link, but now Google will display top level domains (TLD’s) and broader set of data which will help end users to have better understanding of their back link profile.
This will surely be useful for those who are looking to remove or clean maximum bad links. Webmaster now will be able to see back links from top domains as well as from different domains.
